i feel like you physically could not attack an orangutan like if you tried they would just look you in the eyes and a wave of inhuman calmness would wash over you
In Super Mario Odyssey, whenever Mario does a single jump, he always raises the arm that is further away from the camera (top). This is likely due to Nintendo-internal guidelines that state that Mario is not to be depicted with his arm covering his face while jumping. Compare a selection of official artwork where Mario raises the arm that is further away from the viewer (bottom). In Super Mario Odyssey, Bowser wears a wedding outfit for the vast majority of the game. From the intro until the final boss battle, Bowser is seen five times in separate locations, always dressed in a tuxedo and wearing shoes. The top picture shows the soles of Bowser’s shoes; as you can see, these are shaped like Mario’s shoes. However, several spots in the game that Mario visits feature Bowser’s footprints that could not have been left by Bowser’s shoes. The bottom picture shows these footprints in the Sand Kingdom, one of the locations where Bowser is seen wearing shoes when Mario arrives. This seems to imply that Bowser has taken his shoes off to walk around the different locations, but then always put them back on before confronting Mario.
